9:35 am: Yesterday we celebrated Joshua's 5th birthday party. As expected, it was a load of work but the children had a great time. I managed to find a few minutes before boarding my flight to San Francisco. My wife and kids gave me an emotional goodbye this morning. No shortage of tears or "I want to go daddy!!" Why am I such an emotional mess? I guess I can work that one out with my therapist.
After much anticipation, hesistation, thinking, and re-thinking the journey finally begins.
